About the PTO

The Ockerman Elementary "PTO" is our Parent Teacher Organization.

We help raise money for different things within the school, for students and teachers/staff. Such as different student enrichments, dojo store items, along with "Popcorn Fridays", movie days in their classroom, candy grams, dances, game night, Rocketfest, holiday shop and other things to help provide several opportunities for the students and staff to engage in after school activities from our events. We provide teachers with special materials needed for their classroom, help fund field trips, put together teacher/staff appreciation week, bring in spirit wear, etc.

We are always looking for more volunteers! A lot of the time it's during the school day but not always. Having volunteers is the only way to make all the things happen! We will always ask for volunteers when doing an event, for Popcorn Friday prep, for our monthly staff appreciation bars, help with our Teacher Task Tuesdays program, for the holiday shop, etc.

There will always be something available for all to help with, the more the merrier!!!
