Afternoon Families, So excited to see all the kids smiling faces tomorrow morning. A few friendly reminders; doors open at 8:15 please do not unload until you see a staff member outside, pull all the way up and fill in empty areas so we can unload as many students as possible. Please stay in your car during car line drop off for safety. If you are going to walk your child to the front door first day please park at OMS or in our lot. Parents are not permitted to walk students to their class we have several extra adults to get them to their teacher. Please mark your child's backpack or something with their name on it. Will provide bus tags tomorrow. Please allow some grace tomorrow in the afternoon. We will be loading around 700 kids to get home all on the correct bus. You child will most likely be home 10-15 mins after their scheduled bus drop off time tomorrow and Thursday.

Second we have one parent who has volunteered for SBDM. Please vote at the link below. If you are a minority parent and are interested in serving on SBDM please reach out to me via phone or email. https://forms.gle/BSbvfV3vbpTCj7UP8

Get a good nights rest!

šŸš— OES END-OF-DAY CAR LINE REMINDERS šŸš—

Rocket families, with the first day of school almost here, we want to make sure everyone is familiar with our afternoon pick-up procedures! šŸš€ Please review the information below if your child will be an everyday or occasional pick-up student.

šŸ“ Occasional Pick-Ups
If your child is not normally a pick-up student but you need to pick them up that day, please complete the Occasional Pick Up Request Form located on the OES website under the Parents tab. The form must be submitted before 3:00 p.m.

🚘 Car & Backpack Tags
Please hang your car tag from your rearview mirror where OES staff can easily see it. Your child's backpack tag should also be attached to their backpack.

šŸ“ When You Arrive
Pull into the Ockerman Elementary School loop and PARK in an available parking space. Please do not park in designated spaces unless they apply to you.

If the OES parking lot is full, proceed to the Ockerman Middle School loop and begin forming a line at the stop sign. Please DO NOT form a line on the road between OES and OMS. If cones are blocking the entrance to the OES lot, proceed directly to the OMS lot and wait for staff to signal when you may enter the OES loop.

🚦 Wait for OES Staff
At dismissal, OES staff will come outside and direct vehicles when it is time to form the double car line. Please DO NOT begin lining up before staff directs you to do so.

ā“ Need a car tag or have questions?
Please contact the OES front office and we'll be happy to help!

Thank you for helping us keep afternoon dismissal safe, organized, and running smoothly for all of our Rockets! šŸš€ā¤ļø
